The Editorial Board of the AFRIKA – Studies in Art and Culture journal announces a call for papers for the forthcoming issue (2017). The journal publishes original scientific papers, interviews, essays, and other contributions from the domain contemporary studies in African art and culture. The interdisciplinary character of the journal allows for multi-layered interpretations of African phenomena and processes which are the subject of current studies in the fields of social studies and the humanities. Attention is also given to the activity of the Museum of African Art in Belgrade and relevant museological trends and museum productions in the world today.

In view of the fact that the new issue will be published next year, for the fortieth anniversary of the Museum of African Art, the decades-long activity of the Museum can be a topic of research, i.e. contributions.
