Donate to MAA
Since its founding, the Museum of African Art has systematically collected ethnographic and artistic objects from Africa, as well as art works by contemporary authors of African origin. For more than four decades, the collection has grown steadily through gifts and purchases. Most of the objects kept in the museum collection today are gifts from foreign and domestic donors.
If you own an object from Africa which you would like to donate to the museum, please send a photograph and available information about it (time, place and manner of acquisition, dimensions, material), as well as any questions regarding donations to This email address is being protected from spambots.
