Past Exhibitions
Over more than three decades, the MAA has organized theme exhibitions based on its collections as well as exhibitions and art installations by contemporary African Artists. A glimpse into some of the most significant ventures into African art exhibiting reveals the institution’s development and treatment of different topics in the field of African art and culture.
Touring Exhibitions
One of the first missions of MAA founders Zdravko and Veda Pečar, was to disseminate knowledge and information about the richness and creativity of African communities and individual artists. This initial mission has been mentained to the present day.
