KO je TO, KOTOKO?
Stručno vođenje kroz izložbu “Kotoko konjanici, čuvari duše” & kreativna radionica za decu od 3 do 13 godina
U Muzeju afričke umetnosti, od 11 do 13 časova: 6. aprila, 13. aprila, 27. aprila (nedelje) & 21. aprila (praznični ponedeljak)
Više od tri stotine eksponata na izložbi „Kotoko konjanici, čuvari duše” biće inspiracija deci da oblikuju svoja umetnička dela – figure konjanika u glini - na radionici koju vodi Milica Josimov, vajar. Istovremeno, za ostale posetioce priređeno je stručno vođenje kroz izložbu sa kustosima Muzeja afričke umetnosti (Dragan Mišković / Marija Ličina). Na izložbi „Kotoko konjanici, čuvari duše“ prikazani su talismani afričkog naroda Kotoko, liveni u bronzi u vidu minijaturnih figura konjanika, dimenzija od samo par santimetara. Ovi talismani, poznati pod nazivom „Kotoko konjanici”, nošeni su kao privesci na ogrlicama i narukvicama i imali su važnu ulogu da zaštite dušu čoveka od ćudljivih duhova. Predmeti predstavljeni na aktuelnoj izložbi pripadaju italijanskom kolekcionaru Pjerluiđiju Peroniju. Njegova kolekcija prikazana je prvi put 2011. godine u Milanu, u Oratorijumu stradanja bazilike Sant Ambrođo. Promotivna cena ulaznica je 100 dinara po osobi (svi uzrasti) |

WHO is KOTOKO ?
Guided Tour through the “Kotoko Equestrians, Guardians of the Soul“ exhibition & Creative Workshop for Kids age 3 to 13
At the Museum of African Art, from 11am to 1pm: April 6th, 13th, 27th (Sundays) & April 21st (a holiday Monday)
More than three hundred objects displayed at the “Kotoko Equestrians, Guardians of the Soul” exhibition will provide a rich inspiration for the kids to shape their own art works – horseman statuettes in clay – at the workshop guided by Milica Josimov, sculptor. At the same time, older visitors will be given guided tour through the current exhibition, with curators of the Museum of African Art (Dragan Mišković / Marija Ličina). The exhibition „Kotoko Equestrians, Guardians of the Soul“showcases talismans of the Kotoko people, casted in bronze in the shape of miniature equestrian figures, which are only few centimeters large. These talismans, known as the “Kotoko equestrians” were worn as pendants on necklacess and bracelets and they had an important function of protecting a man’s soul from the erratic spirits. The objects presented at the exhibition belong to Italian collector of African artworks, Pierluigi Peroni. His collection was first shown in 2011 in Milan, at the Passion Oratory of the St. Ambrogio Basilica. The promotional price is 100 dinars per person (all ages) |
