Pernille Bærendtsen is an independent journalist with special focus on East Africa. As guest of the Museum, she will talk about the role of social networks in the process of affirmation of young photographers from the continent, and the ways in which this form of communication disrupts our perceptions about Africa.

CAPOEIRA WORKSHOPS IN NATURE - IN THE MAA GARDEN
Learn about the Afro-Brazilian martial art – capoeira, and some of its basic moves. Also, the musical segment of the workshops will teach you to play some of the instruments used as accompaniment in capoeira and also, songs in Portugese.
