IGOR VINCE & HIS DRUM, BRASS AND KEYS
One of the few musicians in our surroundings dedicated to the African sound. As a child Igor Vince played the violin and guitar, and his love for percussions developed after participating in an international music camp back in 2001. This sealed his fate! From then on, he has been actively investing in his mastery of the percussions through his fieldwork in Africa and throughout the world, by learning from some of the best musicians such as Keziah Jones, Cheick Tidiane Seck, Fatoumata Diawara, Cheikh Lo and many others. Vince has performed on several occasion with Senegalese musician and griot Kemo Sissoko at the Museum of African Art in Belgrade, and he is also known as the first white man play percussions with Femi Kuti. In 2016 he performed alongside Femi Kuti on his US tour – a much deserved privilege.
