MANDELA'S CODE

Promotion of the English edition of the book „Mandela's Code”
by Vesna Jugović de Vinča (PhD)

Mandela's CodeWe have the honour to invite you to the promotion of the English edition of the book „Mandela's Code” by Vesna Jugović de Vinča PhD.

The great African and world leader gave his last interview to Ms. De Vinča - a Serbian author that transposed this last journalistic encounter with the Madiba into an original biography.

Mandela's extraordinary, complicated, exciting and above all exemplary life, his life principles, work and leadership code are the subject of this book.

The author insists that the book was written with the intent to reveal the secret behind the source of such colossal strength and power that motivated this Spartacus of the modern era, to discover and define Mandela's code in an attempt to answer the question - what would Mandela do or say today? After decades of imprisonment Mandela was released from prison speaking of forgiveness and reconciliation with determination. How can this principle be reaffirmed in modern world, and especially in the turbulent Balkans.

This was the only interview that Mandela gave in the last decade of his life.

The promotion of the book is organized to mark the centenary of Nelson Mandela's birth, which is being celebrated throughout the world this year.

The book has been published in collaboration with the International Foundation for Sustainable Peace and Development (IFSPD) and the Belgrade Institute for Textbook Publishing (ITP).

The book promotion, in the presence of numerous diplomats and public figures, will be opened by the Dean of the Group of African Ambassadors to Serbia, and Ambassador of Algeria - H.E. Abdelhamid Chebchoub.

The event will be moderated by Ms. Maja Manojlović - journalist.

We would be honoured by your presence at the event which will take place at the Museum of African Art, No. 14 Andre Nikolića Street, on Friday September 14th 2018 at 6 pm.
