Evening Travelogue Presentation at the MAA - "Stories from Morocco: the cultural heritage of the nomads of the Sahara"
On the occasion of the Morocco's Enthronement Day, the Museum of African Art and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco organize a travelogue evening "Stories from Morocco : the cultural heritage of the nomads of the Sahara" on Monday , 27 July 2015 at 7pm.
Every year in May, more than thirty nomadic people from Morocco and other parts of North Africa gather at the festival called Musem , in Tan Tan in Southwest Morocco. At this year's Musem Festival numerous participants coming from this year's partner countries Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as Mauritania, Mali, Niger, etc. were hosted in around 800 tents. About 120 foreign guests: politicians, professors, diplomats and among them three journalists from Serbia had a chance to enjoy the hospitality of the inhabitants of this part of the Sahara.
