Symbols in African Art –
creative ceramics and graphics workshops
for secondary school students

During the winter holidays, February 5-9, the Museum will be organizing creative ceramics and graphics workshops for secondary school students.

The program “Symbols in African Art…” will be held on the premises of the Museum, in two groups:

I GROUP, 5-9 February, from 10-13h: MINI COURSE IN CERAMCS;

II GROUP, 5-9 February, from 14-17h: MINI COURSE IN GRAPHICS.

Over the course of five work days, in three-hour lessons, following an opening lecture about African symbolism, participants will be introduced to the techniques of graphic and ceramic production. The final segment will take place on 10 February when participants, with the help of curators, will create an exhibition of their own works.

The official opening of the exhibition and awards for best artworks will take place on 11 February at 14:00.

The workshops are held by Milica Josimov, sculptor and Marija Miloš, curator.
