TO JERBA WITH LOVE

The Serbian and Tunisian Friendship Association and the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia have the pleasure to invite you to the opening of the exhibition of paintings by Dušan Simeonović, long-term ambassador of Serbia. The exhibition will be opened by Mr. Mohamed Bougamra, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia and Dragomir Karić, president of the Serbian and Tunisian Friendship Association.
Dušan Simeonović was born in 1941 in Zaječar. He graduated in 1964 at the Department for Oriental Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. As a career diplomat he worked in Kuwait, Syria, Zimbabwe, Libya and Egypt. He was appointed ambassador twice in Libya and once in Egypt.
The exhibition consists of a selection of oil paintings by Simeonović and photographs of the Tunisian island of Jerba, which were made during his years spent in countries of North Africa.
